Sky viewing card error messages

"There is a problem with your viewing card"

If you're seeing this error on your TV, you'll need to check your viewing card is inserted correctly and make sure it's not damaged. Watch our video below to find out how to check your card.

"This is the wrong Sky viewing card"

If you're seeing this error on your TV, you'll need to link your viewing card to your Sky box. The message may appear if you've had your box turned off for an extended period of time or if you've recently replaced or upgraded your Sky box.

To link your viewing card to your Sky box you can sign in to the Activate my channels page with your Sky iD and follow the instructions provided. If you don't already have one, you'll need to create a Sky iD first. Watch our video below to find out how to link to your Sky box.
